Cheney Ranch was first started in 1984 by Jon Cheney. His idea was to offer a community with paved roads and acre lots. This decision as well as the decision to restrict the community to site built homes has led to the current growth of over 200 homes.

Cheney Ranch is a well established community that borders National Forest.  Incredible views can be found in some of these lovely homes.  Horses are allowed. Cheney Ranch is just minutes away from Show Low. The terrain is mostly Juniper/scrub mix, but tall pines can be found.  Most homes are well landscaped.
